What Should I wear?

  

We encourage you to wear white. The colors show up better. Tutus, colorful wigs and costumes also encouraged.

 

Are kids Welcome?

 

Of course! Kids are welcome and are offered at a discounted rate. Kids 4 and under are free. Strollers are permitted.

 

I don't run. Can I walk the 5K?

 

Absolutely! Walk, jog or run the 5K. This event is untimed and considered a fun run. There are no metals given for first place finishers. The point is to have fun!

 

What about incliment weather?

 

The race will take place regardless of weather. If lightning is present the event may be delayed/canceled. We run in sun, wind or rain. There are no refunds in the event the race is canceled.

 

Can my fee be refunded?

 

Unfortunately no refund as allowed. The proceeds go to a non-profit student club at KCC. You can transfer your registration to someone else, but no refunds will be given.

 

Does the color stain?

 

The color is non-toxic, food grade powder (corn-starch) and should not stain. It is best to remove as much of the powder from the clothes before washing. Normal laundry soap will remove the color.

 

I want to participate, but not race.
